Player evaluations are NOT tryouts, but are mandatory for age groups U10 through U15. This is a recreational soccer league open to players with all levels of skill and interest in soccer. We are coordinating player evaluations for the purpose of working towards a more balanced league where all players will have a positive experience and an equal opportunity to improve their game. The kids will have fun doing various training drills and small-sided games.

PRACTICE & GAME INFORMATION
Practices begin the week of September 5, 2022.Practice times are determined by your volunteer coach according to what best fits his/her schedule. There will be two one hour practices per week made available for each team.
Games are typically on Saturdays and will begin Saturday, September 10, 2022. It is possible for make-up games to occur on a weeknight including Friday.
All games are played at Ashton Brosnaham Park (10360 Ashton Brosnaham Rd, Pensacola, FL 32534). The exception to this would be the U10, U12, U15, and the HS Divisions where these teams may “inter-league” with other local parks in the Pensacola area.
WHAT TEAM IS MY CHILD ON? WHO IS OUR COACH?
Teams will be built for U6 and U8 the week of August 29, 2022. For U10 and older teams will be selected during the Drafts on August 29 for Girls and 30 for Boys, 2022. It does not mean that you should have heard from your child’s coach simply because others have as this process takes sometime to complete.
Pensacola Futbol Club will be changing colors this 2022 Fall Season. All Players will be required to order a new uniform kit. When uniforms arrive, all registered players will be notified so that he or she can pick them up at concession. Uniforms usually arrive the week before the first games. The uniform kit costs $35.00, which include a blue and white jersey, a pair of black shorts, and a pair of blue socks. Any further questions about uniforms should be directed to our Recreational Director at [email protected]
We do allow for requests in our U6 Coed and U8 Divisions. However, we do not take player/coach requests for Divisions U10 and higher. You are encouraged to makes notes when registering your player. These notes will be considered on a case by case basis by the coaches at the Draft selections.
We understand and appreciate the many activities of your families but with over 1,000 kids playing soccer at our facility each season, it is not possible to accommodate all practice schedule requests and conflicts.
Practice days and times as these are determined by our volunteer coaches. Coaches are encouraged to practice 1-2 times per week M-F evenings starting some time after 5:30 p.m.
You can secure your child’s day and time for practice by volunteering to coach.
YES, YOU CAN BE A COACH. THE KIDS NEED YOUR HELP!
The kids need your help to coach and provide a positive soccer experience. Our desire is to make the rosters smaller this year so that all kids receive more playing time and touches on the ball. You do not have to be a soccer expert, you only have to have a desire to work with kids. We will have a Coaches Clinic to teach parents how to run practices, games, etc…as well as provide ongoing support throughout the season. All of us had to start somewhere – take a step of faith and enjoy the rewarding experience of working with kids! Please let me know if you have any questions about being a head coach or an assistant coach.
